Our Ethos

Sustainability and environmental awareness is always important and on our mind. Our soap packaging is recycled/recyclable paper, and most of our wrapping and bubble padding are re-used from other packages to reduce the use of plastic. All our products are handcrafted in small and calculated batches to ensure minimal wastage.

We understand that it is inevitable for our soap to come in a plastic sheet wrap before packaging. However, due to the nature of the soap-making process plus human and enviromental factors, we always ensure our soap does not get contaminated and remains fresh for use. We are constantly moving forward in researching and sourcing for materials which are more environmentally conscious, whether it is for our packaging and/or formulation process.

To reduce the one-time usage of plastic, we have a Reuse, Refill policy.

Step 1 — Collect or Store
Once the product is used; for instance glass jars/bottles, or packaging materials (bubble wrap, newspapers or any padding), do keep them aside in good condition. Peeling off labels or washing/cleaning them is optional. If you decide to reuse them around your personal space or general repurposing, that would be great as well!

Step 2 — Drop Off
Used jars/materials can be dropped off at Studio (exact address will be given to you after contacting us) anytime you’d like. Do indicate the item that you are dropping off as it will be of great help to us! Once the items have passed our quality checks and deemed reusable, a voucher for our products will then be sent to you for your next purchase.

Step 3 — Reuse
All recycled items will be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized upon reaching us. The integrity and state of the item will be checked. Only items in perfect condition will be refilled with products; others that do not pass our quality check will be recycled accordingly.
